פשיטא לא צריכא דאית ליה חמרא אחרינא מהו דתימא הא קא מינטר ליה קמ"ל שאני נטירותא דחד מנטירותא דבי תרי:

[If, however, this was caused] by negligence, they would not have to provide him with another ass; where this was done without any negligence [on his part], he is provided with another ass.
